This year in the Abbey Grammar School, our year 10 pupils under the guidance of the Religious Studies department, have been involved in ‘Operation Christmas Child’. This is an international project sharing the good news of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas with children around the world. Pupils have brought in shoe boxe! s, wrapped up in Christmas paper and filled with lovely gifts for boys and girls from a variety of age groups. This act of generosity will give hope and comfort to many children who live amidst the turmoil of war, natural disasters and poverty. In the Abbey, we would like these children to know they have not been forgotten.

A selection of pupils will take part in the photograph to represent the Year 10 abbey pupils:

10OR Stephen Mc Kay, Conor Mc Cann, Leo Gorman, Ben Hughes

10DO Andrew Hughes, Dylan Trainor, Declan Mc Cabe

10SL Declan Cr anny, James Meehan, Conla Quinn

10BR Aidan Donnelly, Ryan Hughes, James O’Hare

Teachers involved: Mrs Lisa Mc Keever (Head of RS Department), Mrs Mary Mc Evoy, Mrs Teri Donegan.
